Thinking of a nice quick getaway in Toronto? Centre Island is a destination like no other! Enjoy a 15-minute fun water ride to either Centre Island, Hanlan’s Point or Ward’s Island with many available beaches for sun-bathing. Below are some helpful resources on how to get to Toronto Centre Island.

Toronto Ferry

Where to depart: Jack Layton Ferry Terminal at 9 Queens Quay West (Bay St & Queens Quay W) just west of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. Enter the Ferry Terminal through the walkways between Westin Harbour Castle Hotel and Harbour Castle Condominiums.
3 ways to get there:
1. Take the subway to Union Station and walk to 9 Queens Quay.
2. Drive to Harbourfront and park at one of these locations.
3. Take the Uber and get dropped at Bay St and Queens Quay W.
Destination: Centre Island, Hanlan’s Point, and Ward’s Island

Where to depart: 207 Queens Quay West (York St. and Queens Quay) and look for yellow and black water taxis.
3 ways to get there:
1. Take the subway to Union Station and walk to 207 Queens Quay.
2. Drive to Harbourfront and park at one of these locations.
3. Take the Uber and get dropped at York St and Queens Quay W.
Destination: Centre Island, Hanlan’s Point & Ward’s Island
Tickets: $10 for adults per one-way trip, free for infants 13 months and younger. Accept cash, debit, or credit.

Where to depart: Dock is located at the intersection of Spadina and Queens Quay W in front of Starbucks and look for the wooden bamboo water taxi.

1. Take the subway to Union Station and walk towards Spadina and Queens Quay W.
2. Drive to Harbourfront and park at one of these locations.
3. Take the Uber and get dropped at Spadina and Queens Quay W.
Destination: Centre Island and Hanlan’s Point
Tickets: $10 for adults and kids. Accept cash, debit, credit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Schedule: Boats departing every 2-3 minutes from 10am-9pm. 7 days a week.
Notes: Masks are mandatory during the rides.
