But for now, here are the Toronto Harbourfront condo market statistics for December 2021.
In December 2021, the average sold price was $784,282 with 95 units sold and an average of 27 days on market. Compared to December 2020, the average sold price was $688,700 with 93 units sold and an average of 41 days on market. A total 14% increase compared to last year.
In December 2021, there were 7 studios sold with an average sold price of $488,057 and an average of 33 days on market. In contrast, there were 6 studios sold in December 2020 with a sold price of $447,833 and an average of 50 days on market. A 9% increase.
Last month, we see an average sold price of $645,230 which is a 16% increase compared to December 2020. Last December, there were a total of 10 units sold and an average of 25 days on market compared to December 2020 with 26 units sold and 47 days on market. Even though there were fewer 1 beds sold, however, there is still a lot of buyer demand for this type of layout.
In December 2021, the average sold price for a 1 plus den was $703,729 and the number of units sold was 45 with an average of 25 days on the market which is an 8% increase. Compared to last year’s December 2020, there was an average sold price of $651,968 with a total of 34 units sold and an average of 30 days on market. 1 plus den is deemed to be the most popular layout here.
For 2 beds, the average sold price in December 2021 was $1,102,332 with 26 days on the market and a total of 31 units sold. In December 2020, the average sold price was $841,889 with 39 days on market and a total of 19 units sold. That’s a 21% increase from last year. As you can see, December 2021 real estate market is more active than the last. The market will always bounce back up to normal regardless of covid 19 and the real estate market in Toronto will continue to expand and increase in average selling price.
For 3 beds, there was only 1 unit sold last month and the sold price was $1,250,000 with 17 days on market. Compared to December 2020, there was an average sold price of $1,460,500 with 68 days on market and 6 units sold.
